Month of Prayer Follow-Up

Thank you so much for your prayers for the Unreached Peoples of Mexico during the Month of May! More than 1000 of you visited the blog, and between 200-600 of you saw the prayer requests on Facebook each day throughout the month. During the course of the month, we saw answers to your prayers. Populations of three of the target unreached people groups were located in nine different places in the USA, including one people group that we did not know was present in the USA.

Locating these people groups is the first step toward engaging them with the gospel. If you or your church is interested in reaching out to these unreached people groups from Mexico who are now living here, please contact us so that we can assist you in finding a people group near where you live and minister. You can also go to www.peoplegroups.info for more information about people groups in your area.

Your prayers will have an eternal impact far beyond anything that we can imagine – thank you!

2014 Month of Prayer for the Unreached Peoples of Mexico

Every May, many throughout the USA celebrate Cinco de Mayo and remember the heritage and customs of Mexico. The history of the peoples of Mexico goes back thousands of years to the many distinct tribes and languages who were present both before and after the Spanish conquest. After the Spanish left and Mexico was formed, the survivors of these once proud civilizations became persecuted minorities in their own lands. The years passed, and they continued to worship their idols and live and die in bondage. Why? Because nobody went to tell them about what Jesus is really like. These people groups share a border with the USA, but nobody went to tell them about Jesus! And now, these people groups continue to be just as lost as any people group anywhere in the world.

Won't you join us in praying for the Unreached Peoples of Mexico throughout the month of May?
